About Us
Building A Better Future, Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina is a nonprofit organization that was established in January of 2021 to provide services for low-income youths, young adults, individuals and families. We will offer programs and job placements for eligible youth and young adults between the ages of fifteen and twenty five years old. Each program will uniquely benefit each participant by addressing their specific needs. We can bring out the best in them by teaching them useful skills that focuses on self sufficiency, job readiness, and delivering superior outcomes through job placemency.
From the initial consultation down to the conclusion of each program, we adopt the values of transparency, diversity, equality, and inclusion to reach and connect with as many people as possible.

Meet the CEO/Owner
Melody L. Moorehead III, the owner, has more than 22 years of experience in youth development training, customer services and community development. He desires to assist teenagers, young adults (between the ages of fifteen to twenty five years old), and adults with low to moderate-income to build skills that can help them find better jobs, budget counseling, become financial literate, improve their overall employment value, and job placement. Melody is a recent graduate of Purdue University Class of 2021 and received his Masters of Science in Human Services with a Concentration in Organizational Management and Social Services. He loves playing chess, listening to music, golf, board games, cooking, playing sports, and watching a great movie. Helping others to improve their quality of life is his passion and he will stop at nothing to ensure that it is done.

Here at Building A Better Future, Inc., Our mission is to create an extensive range of job placements, employment based learning, job readiness training for youth and young adults, between the ages of fifteen and twenty five years of age.
This training will prepare our young adults to better serve their communities by providing job readiness, life skills development and self sufficiency training.
